The Elephant in the Room
Fear of public speaking and the fear of death are often cited as two of our greatest fears. While we celebrate birth, we tend to avoid discussions about the one other universal experience we all share: dying. Death has become the elephant in the room, an uncomfortable topic we'd rather not address.
What’s In A Name?
The French phrase "Suivez-moi" (pronounced swee-vay mwa) means "Follow me." It is the motto on the Hawley Coat of Arms and provides the inspiration for my end-of-life doula business.
